My Experience at the Cirque du Soleil LOVE Show in Vegas

There are some experiences that stay with you long after the room goes dark, and for me, the Cirque du Soleil LOVE show in Las Vegas is one of them. It was a mind bending sensory experience that felt bigger than entertainment. It felt like stepping inside a dream.

I went with one of my female best friends and at the time we both had legal medical marijuana cards. Since cannabis is legal in Vegas, we actually went shopping for it beforehand.

We took some THC before the show, not too much of course, just enough to make everything feel richer and more sensory. That was the perfect decision. I was deeply present, like every color, every sound, and every movement suddenly had its own heartbeat.

As soon as the show started, I knew we were in for something wild. The way Cirque blends acrobatics, lighting, music, and emotion is unreal on a normal day, but on cannabis? It was like my senses turned into high-definition. Everything felt louder, closer, more meaningful.

But the part I’ll never forget the moment that still gives me goosebumps was when song Something played. That song is already so beautiful and one of my total favs, so you can imagine how romantic and soothing it felt wrapped inside all the lights and movement. And the acrobat, oh my God, she was wearing this silky, glittery white dress that shimmered every time she spun. It didn’t even look like fabric, it looked like moonlight.

The way she moved… ughhh, just magic. They weren’t just flipping or performing tricks; they were painting in the air. Her dress caught the light with every motion, like the music itself was breathing through the fabric. It felt like the whole room was floating with them, completely suspended for those few minutes. I swear my soul clapped before my hands did.

I remember leaning over to my best friend like, “Are you seeing this the way I’m seeing this?” And she just nodded with her eyes wide open like, yeah, this is amazing.

There was something so special about LOVE. No other Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas could compare. It was the emotion of it. The artistry. The way it pulled you into a universe for a couple hours.

Some shows entertain you. LOVE transforms you. And that night? I’ll keep it forever.
